The FUNdamentals group is for boys and girls ages 7 to 9. We focus on having fun while developing a wide range of fundamental movement skills and activities (also known as physical literacy). These young athletes work on the ABCs of athleticism (agility, balance, coordination, and speed). The physical literacy developed in this period becomes the foundation for learning sport-specific techniques in the future.

The training program provides a positive experience with physical activity that promotes good movement and healthy habits for life. We develop strength and movement competency through bodyweight exercises and use games to improve the ABCs of athleticism. There is no emphasis on game scores or “winning.”

We want our young athletes to learn how to move well, move often, and have fun!
